Elisa A. Garza is a poet, editor, and former writing and literature teacher with family roots in South Texas. Regalos was a finalist for the National Poetry Series, and one of its poems was on exhibit at the Health Museum in Houston. Elisa’s first chapbook was the award-winning Familia. Between the Light / entre la claridad has seen two editions, and The Body, Cancerous (both from Mouthfeel Press) chronicles her experience with aggressive cancer.
